Privacy Policy for 回本易

回本易 ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the App's features, such as item tracking, usage logging, cost-per-use (CPU) calculations, space-cost estimates, and monthly reports.

Personal Information

When you register or use the App, we may collect:

  • email address (for account creation and notifications)
  • Google account details (via Google login for authentication)
  • user-generated content such as item names, purchase price, category, usage goals (用到抵 or 用到盡), usage history, estimated past uses (for old items), and rent-per-sqft input for space-cost calculation.

Automatically Collected Information

We collect device information (e.g., IP address, device type, OS version), usage data (e.g., app interactions, timestamps), and analytics (e.g., session duration) to improve functionality.

Location Data

We do not collect precise location. Approximate location may be inferred from IP for analytics only.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or payment details — payments are handled by RevenueCat).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide core App features (e.g., storing items in Supabase, calculating CPU, space cost, generating insights and monthly 成績單).
  • Improve the App (e.g., analyzing anonymized usage patterns for bug fixes or new features).
  • Communicate with you (e.g., launch updates, goal reminders, or account notifications).
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud (e.g., via authentication logs).
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data for research or marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers (e.g., Supabase for data storage, Google for login, RevenueCat for premium subscription payments).
  • Legal authorities if required (e.g., subpoenas).
  • In business transfers (e.g., if 回本易 is acquired).

All sharing is limited to what's necessary and protected by agreements.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures (e.g., encryption in Supabase, secure authentication) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. Report vulnerabilities to edward@edchoapps.com.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access, update, or delete your data via App settings or by emailing edward@edchoapps.com.
  • Opt out of notifications in settings.
  • For EU/UK users (GDPR): Rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
  • For California users (CCPA): Rights to know, delete, and opt-out of sales (none occur).

Requests processed within 30 days; we may retain data for legal reasons.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children; contact us to delete if suspected.

7. International Data Transfers

Data is stored in Supabase (global servers); we ensure adequate protections for cross-border transfers (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy; changes will be posted in-App with the new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
